Account Executive opening for Large Brokerage in Chicago.  Independently market, manage and service client accounts for assigned book of business, while providing excellent client service to all accounts.  Partner with other Account Executives, Claims Department, and other team members to ensure the client experience is seamless and comprehensive.  Manage the efforts of Account Manager(s) as necessary to effectively service accounts and develop skills to increase organizational value. Manage day-to-day account responsibilities, including but not limited to: Timely resolution of client problems, Timely response to client questions, Monitoring clients insurance programs for possible changes, Facilitating resolution to claims, and Coordinating the delivery of risk management services; successfully perform renewal process for existing accounts.  Implement new business and renewal processes, procedures and practices according to established guidelines; determine risk management and client coverage needs to develop effective insurance programs for new and renewal accounts; perform administrative account management duties such as completing applications, billing, resolving collection problems, corresponding with carriers, providing customer status reports, coordinating and following up on audits, attending sales meetings, reviewing production reports and supporting internal staff department requests for information; apply all enabling technology to ensure efficient and effective delivery of service (i.e., Word, Excel, Applied System, etc.). Service Marketing/Relationship Building: Solicit and produce new business.  Generate new prospects by utilizing and expanding existing networks and business relationships.  Follow up on leads and cross-sell referrals, develop effective and timely proposals and make presentations to close new accounts and renew existing accounts, maintain/strengthen relationships with prospect and client decision makers, insurance buyers, and company contacts, develop and execute a marketing strategy, manage entertainment and new business development expenses prudently. Management: Provide coaching, direction and day-to-day supervision to account support staff. 7-10 years experience in an Account Executive or analogous role, with ultimate responsibility for client accounts. Minimum 2 years experience handling insurance placements for companies with premium volume exceeding $500,000. Minimum 2 years experience in true “generalist” role, managing and facilitating all facets of the renewal process and responding to all client needs. Demonstrated success in management, including responsibility for workflow and results as well as performance management, coaching and feedback. Active Property / Casualty Illinois Producers License. Insurance Broker opening in New York.  Insurance Broker to join the National Fiduciary Liability Practice (NFLIP). This is a service-oriented position, and the ideal candidate will work to maintain and cultivate relationships with existing and new clients. The Insurance Broker working within the Practice provides a specialized service for  clients (primarily Multiemployer) and collaborates with other members of the team, placing fiduciary liability insurance, fidelity bonds, and other specialized insurance products.  Responsible for the renewal and placement of Fiduciary Insurance and Fidelity Bonds, and has considerable interaction with clients, benefits consultants, fund counsel, and carriers. The Insurance Broker provides day-to-day account service for the book of business assigned, makes recommendations to clients based on quotes received from carriers, and prepares correspondence to both clients and consultants.  Must have a valid “good standing” New York State Property and Casualty Insurance license or obtain one within sixty days of employment. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of previous experience in the insurance industry, specifically Property and Casualty. Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), a strong familiarity with insurance terminology, and the ability to prioritize are essential. This position requires a solid knowledge of PCs, the ability to work independently and in a timely manner, and a high degree of accuracy. Some travel may be required. Salary $open.
