Commercial Lines Agency Manager opening in Lakewood, New Jersey or Brooklyn, New York. Responsible for managing the day-to-day service operations of the Commercial Lines Team including the mentoring, coaching, and motivating of team members, continuously looking to improve client service experience and workflows associated with delivering world class service, achieving the growth and retention strategy, and being a contributor to the continuous improvement of processes and workflows within the agency; Complies with continuing education requirements for agent licensing as well as professional designations; Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and stay current; follows all agency procedures by utilizing and understanding agency automation systems and electronic file maintenance. – EPIC; manages the Commercial Lines Team to ensure top level performance delivery on our Account Management day to day responsibilities; oversees the renewal management and marketing process in collaboration with the Marketing and Carrier Relations; measures and monitors the team’s duties, including and not limited to, timely renewals, underwriting and evaluating client’s insurance programs, and forecasting; develops and implements internal audit process for the Commercial Lines Team with focus on adherence to procedures and workflows. Identify training opportunities and provide audit results to management and team; oversees the rounding and cross-selling strategy for growth and retention within the Commercial Lines book of business; provides continuous training on system utilization, product knowledge, and job knowledge; manages and builds relationships with underwriters, carriers, and clients; reviews lost business reports for cancellations and reasons to assist in identifying trends, carrier placement issues, and overall retention concerns.
