Financial Reporting Analyst – DC12336

Financial Reporting Analyst opening in New York. Collect and archive a broad range of reporting provided by external and internal parties; extract financial and performance information from internal and external reporting, and evaluate and synthesize this information in relation to surveillance and reporting objectives; work closely with the asset management team and risk/analytics professionals to determine the proper booking and monitoring approach for new transactions, and to establish appropriate post- closing surveillance procedures; develop performance reporting needed by the front office, risk/compliance and management teams and field ad hoc requests for reporting of this nature; monitor data quality in investment management and accounting systems and assist with process improvement and

efficiency initiatives; manage the performance reporting and fee invoicing process for various funds; work with various teams on projects related to the growth of business, such as process enhancements and supporting new business initiatives. Ideal candidate has professional experience in a similar role (ideally 3+ years), including substantial exposure to complex non-traditional fixed income investments (e.g., structured credit, private credit, real estate), ideally including private transactions; advanced Excel skills (VBA preferred). Data analytics skills and programming experience a plus; prior experience with and the ability to understand credit agreements and term sheets relating to complex transaction structures; experience creating new report templates and reporting frameworks.
