Property Treaty Underwriter opening in Stamford, CT. Production, underwriting, and negotiation of new and renewal Property treaty accounts in accordance with underwriting guidelines, and subject to authority grants; work closely with actuarial and risk modeling units to develop appropriate technical pricing for each individual treaty; monitor performance of individual accounts, and identify/address emerging issues; develop production goals, and actively participate in broker marketing/industry events; analyze contract wording for accuracy and compliance with negotiated terms/guidelines; perform underwriting reviews of client portfolios, and compile detailed written reports; participate in executive projects, and support operational objectives as respects the Property portfolio. Ideal candidate has 5+ years of Property Treaty experience; experience should include heavy commercial portfolios for Super-Regional, National, and Excess & Surplus Line writers; background should also include primary property or facultative experience (5 to 8 years); excellent understanding of various actuarial methodologies and ability to discuss technical pricing concepts.
