Following a successful insurance brokerage and sales career, Patricia Pryor-Bonica founded Pryor Personnel Agency, d/b/a Pryor Associates, over three decades ago. Pat started the organization with a vision of integrity and hired employees that reflected her vision; because of that goal, they have built it into the multi-million dollar recruiting firm it is today. Her professional and experienced staff, advanced technology, vast network of industry contacts, 95% retention and placement rate, and minority-owned status, have placed Pryor Associates in a class all by itself.

The driving force behind the tremendous success of this firm is Patricia Pryor-Bonica herself. Active in industry, Pat participates as a public speaker at trade shows, industry events and as a career consultant and life coach. She frequently addresses students in the nonprofit community on resume writing, interviewing techniques and other career guidance. She serves as a consultant on human resource problems and provides salary identification information for a spectrum of positions in the insurance industry.

A charter member of the Insurance National Search Association founded in 1982, Pat worked her way up to officership in the organization, which is now known as The National Insurance Recruiters Association (NIRA). The premise for these Associations was to establish the industry standard to which all recruiting firms should aspire and adhere.

Other professional affiliations include membership in the Insurance Women’s Association, the Professional Insurance Association, the Independent Insurance Agents Associations, and the Long Island Association (LIA).  She serves on the National Small Business Committee and is also a past two-term president of the Association of Personnel Consultants.

Pat is active in her community, serving as Past Chair and member of the Board of Trustees of Family and Children’s Association as well as Chairman of the Board for the Council for Drug and Alcohol Abuse and for Mommas House.
